I give you my favorite 403, the Bristol. Built from '53-55 and equipped with a 2.0L straight six that was developed from that in the BMW 328, which also heavily influenced the design.

Now, we have to work out why a Swedish registered (I think) 304 is rhd. Yes, I know Dagen H was in 1967 but they drove lhd cars before that.

Wasn't the engine pretty much the exact same as BMW's? I forget exactly how it all worked out, but the UK rights to the design had been separated from Germany/rest of world even before the war, so Bristol was able to just buy it.

Also, amazingly, I'm pretty sure the 403's chassis carried over all the way through the 603 body shell that was in production until just a few years ago.
